English Department is established with the college in 1947.

Department is reaching English as a foundation course from semester I to IV.

It is a well equipped department with well equipment needed for IT enabled class The department books after The Digital English and learning Laboratory (DELL) with 24 computers provided ray the government of Gujarat the department Facilitated the student to appear for SCOPE Exam Conducted by the University to Cambridge and also provides training to students if needed the department also plays an important role in various college activities.

• The Central library has 863 books of English.
• Four magazines are subscribed by the department.
• Department has a computer with internet facility for students and staff.
• Department has education CDs, Spoken English CDs
• A Set. of lingafranca with cassettes in our library.
• Teacher is using LCD projector for lectures
• Lecture through power point slides.
• CD’s shows of spoken English is shown in the class room.

Achievements / Research

• Minor research project title is Realisation of necessity of functional English among students of kheda district.
